Aaron DouglasAaron Douglas was an artist during the Harlem Renaissance. His illustrations were featured in many magazines as well. His work helped to portray the life and struggle of many African Americans at this time. Many writers took an interest to him as well. He began to illustrate many works of art for writers. Some of his most famous work is titled, Aspects of Negro Life. Each of the four murals showed different aspects of African American life. He played an important role in the Harlem Renaissance by displaying the the truth and feelings of many African Americans.
